Jethro Tull's Isle of Wight Performance CD

Tull Isle of Wight coverJust three years after their founding, Tull played the final day of the legendary Isle of Wight festival (often called the "British Woodstock") in 1970. With the crowd estimated at nearly 600,000, the band was one of the many impressive acts that day, including The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and the Moody Blues.

Now, Eagle Records has released Tull's 60 minute set worldwide as "Nothing is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight: 1970." The set contains mostly tunes from Tull's first three albums, along with an "in development" version of "My God" which would appear later on "Aqualung."

The sound quality on this new release is remarkable, and Tull fans now can own this classic, previously unreleased live recording of the band's early work. An eight-page booklet includes Ian's reflections on the performance.

Besides Amazon USA, and Amazon UK, the CD can be purchased from Eagle Records and various digital music sites like Rhapsody® and I-tunes®.
