David
Goodier - Bass guitar and double bass
Born near Stonehenge in England, David was mesmerised by music
from an early age. Family musical influences include his Cornish
grandmother, a pianist who also played organ in the local chapel,
and his father, a Lightning aircraft engineer who played banjulele
banjo, harmonica and golf(!) and sometimes built amplifiers in
his spare time.... more

Scott Hammond
- Drums, percussion
Scott was born in Bristol (UK) in 1973. After starting his
musical journey on the piano when he was six, he went on to
play the drums when he was fourteen in his first band "Half
Decent" - and that they were!
He went on to study the drums with Dave Hassell on a three-year
jazz degree course at Leeds College of music. It was here that
he met his wife, Ruth, who plays saxophones, keyboards, piano,
Hammond organ and sings. They are now based in Bristol and regularly
gig all over the UK with The Scott Hammond Quartet and other
projects as freelance musicians.

Ryan O'Donnell -
Vocals and stage antics
Ryan was born in November 1982 in Halifax Yorkshire but he grew
up in Germany and went onto boarding school in York, England.
After quitting his Animation degree at the Surrey Art institute
he moved home and joined local metal band '2 degree field' as
singer and part time guitarist. The band split when all members
moved away to university. He went onto study Acting an The Royal
Welsh College Of Music and Drama where he met part time singing
coach John O'Hara.
After university Ryan pursued his acting career, briefly working
with physical theatre and circus before he broke his leg in 2006.
This stopped him from work for 9 months where he missed touring
the world with theatre company Cheek By Jowl. After a full recovery
Ryan joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in their production
of Romeo and Juliet and straight after this landed the Role of
Jimmy in the Who's production of Quadrophenia. Working again with
John O'Hara who had arranged the Who musical he went onto pursue
his singing career recording a duet with Cat Stevens (Yusef) on
his early track "Matthew and Son" which celebrated the
50th anniversary of the BBC Maida Vale Studios. Ryan now works
for Ian as vocals, mime and general stage tomfoolery.

John
O'Hara - Orchestral conductor, piano, keyboards and
accordion
While working in theatre John learnt the basics on Bass Guitar,
Flute, Trumpet and Trombone until eventually discovering the
Accordion. In 2003, he met Ian Anderson and joined the "Rubbing
Elbows" tour on piano and accordion subsequently recording
on Rupi’s Dance...more

Opahle - Guitar
Born in 1983, his musical interests cover contemporary Rock styles
as well as Classic Rock, Blues and Jazz as well as Classical music.
In 2003, he began working with Ian Anderson in his solo band and

Martin Barre
- Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Flute
Considered one of rock's greatest and most influential electrical
guitarists. Barre first ran into Jethro Tull in 1968 when his
band "Gethsemane" as it was then called, supported
Tull at a concert at the Van Dyck Club in Plymouth, England...

Doane Perry
- Drums and Percussion
Began playing piano at age 7 and continued until age 11 when
the Beatles came along and changed everything. He discovered
the possibility, however unlikely that might have been, of young
girls chasing him down the street if he took up the drums...
